Tess and I have been raising Golden Retrievers since 2005.  Our first Golden was adopted with little research.  Cosmo was a wonderful dog but had little to no interest retrieving anything with feathers.  We decided to do a little more research and found Puddy.  Puddy was out of AFC Jammin' Jaco and Redy Shelby SH.  Puddy was a hunting machine.  We won several NATHA hunting tournaments and he was on the cover the Tournament Hunting magazine.  Puddy was also my first AKC/HRC dog.  We sailed through Juniors but the my lack of experience prevented us from testing at the AKC Senior level.  We did pass one HRC Seasoned pass before Puddy's retirement.  

 

Spin forward to 2017 after the sudden loss of Puddy, Newman entered our lives.  Newman was out Riverbottoms Max Q Annie and FC Redd Man.  Newman was a fantastic dog and a near perfect mix of hunting/hunt test/family dog.  We enjoyed Newman so much that when we found out the Annie was going to have one more litter we wanted to get on the list for a puppy.  Along came Lainie in the fall of 2018.  Lainie is our first female and is going to be our foundation for Vandelay Creek.
